The Note

Title: The Note
Author: Angela Hunt
Genre: Fiction

T- I love you. All is forgiven. Dad

These were the words penned on a lone note found several days after a PanWorld flight crashes into Tampa Bay. The note is lovingly given to Heart Healer columnist Peyton MacGruder along with a challenge to find the notes proper owner. The story comes just in time as Peyton's boss has given her an ultimatum. She has 2 weeks to improve the column, or find a new job.

As Peyton searches the obituaries and passenger list she discovers 3 potential owners. However, she doesn't plan on rival news reporter, Julie St.Claire, to get in her way. As Peyton travels the country interviewing 3 individuals, she uncovers past hurts in her own heart. In the process she learns an amazing lesson about love and forgiveness. If her final draft of the story saves her column and lifts her to national fame, so much the better.

There are some stories written by authors that are just plain simple. There are some simple stories that are written by other authors that lift off the page and become real life in the minds of readers. The Note is a simple story about the not so simple topic of love and forgiveness. Angela Hunt is one such author that can write suspense leaving you up until the wee hours in the morning in one novel, and something that I call "easy reading" in the next novel. This particular book is part of the "Women of Faith" fiction series and has a study guide in the back making this a great book for book clubs.
