So many times I talk to young ladies who have a desire to get married, but the man they are dating just doesn't match up everything on their "list". (Yes, you know the list, we all had/have them!) But when you're in your 20's, do you really expect the man of your dreams to have every single item on that list checked off and accomplished? After all, all of us are a work in progress and who is to say that God is totally finished with working on this individual?

Now flip the coin over, what about the woman who wants to marry the man she is dating, and sees that changes need to be made and says to herself "Oh, he'll change once he's married". Well, this book isn't about "changing your husband" by any means, it's simply a book on how to pray for your husband. I would personally recommend this book for the wife who seriously wants to lift her husband up in prayer. I would also recommend this book to the wife who has been married for more than a couple of years. I think it's just easier to understand the concepts in this book a bit better once you're out of the "honeymoon phase". Author Stormie Omartian gives wonderful insight concerning key area's of a mans life that needs to be covered in prayer such as: his emotions, his security, his fears, his relationships with others, and many more. In fact, there are 30 short chapters in this book and one can easily read a chapter a day and cover your husband in prayer for these specific areas for an entire month.

Prayer is the greatest gift a wife can give her husband even though he may not know it or recognize it.
