Hidden Places

Title: Hidden Places
Author: Lynn Austin
Genre: Fiction

The year is 1931 and Eliza Wyatt is in over her head. As a widow with three young children, she faces mounting debts. Her only hope is to keep the family orchard running, however, the bank is about to foreclose on the mortgage. As she tries to run the orchard all alone, she is a bit unsure of the man who appears at her door step one night looking for a job in exchange for food and roof over his head. Her chidren believe Gabe Harper is indeed an angel to help their mother run the orchard, but Eliza has thoughts all her own as to the true identity of the man.

This was my first Lynn Austin book that I read and I found it to be a nice relaxing read. I'm pleased to see that she has written several other books and I especially look forward to reading her "God and King" series.

I love these book reviews, I am always looking for new books to get into since I believe I have already read most of the Christian books in the library, and half the books from surrounding libraries!
